We need to stop trying to confine big business to the amateurism model. If Johnson vs NCAA rule employe status, it gets easier to have regulated compensation like all other big business sports entities
It’s more important that there’s an association with the universities, aka students, than they continue to get illiquid compensation. I’d rather they improve that association than think we can prevent players from getting paid. The taking online classes and living in a different state for all but in-season, and transfer rules, are more a threat to the product
