I bought into the hype during the season but the b10 is getting exposed.
Little history lesson. The year is 2006. Michigan and Ohio State play a close #1 vs #2 game. Many in the media push hard for a rematch in the title game instead of involving someone outside of the Big Ten but the BCS formula comes to the rescue (as opposed to the current B1G committee) and gives us Florida/OSU title game. OSU and Michigan both get completely blown out in their bowls by Florida and USC respectively and neither looks like a championship caliber team in getting stomped.
Even if this game continues and Penn State gets killed, it still won't match that year for overblown stupid Big Ten hype.
In hindsight they probably didn't realize Michigan and OSU sucked that year because the Big Ten champ only had 12 data points in those days instead of the all important 13 data points we have now.
