Muschamp signed a new contract last year (?) stating he would follow Mack when he is done. Don't mean it can't be bought out, though.

Is that why he was a fail this year? Rushing the process?

Texas is a better job than Auburn. If sanctions come down on Auburn then Chiz is the type of guy that would bail. Having said that, I don't think Texas wants him. I remember reading the Texas boards after Chiz was announced as ISU's coach and the Texas fans weren't too sad to sse him go.
