Roger Clemens used steroids??!?!? Why haven't I heard about this everywhere on the internet for the last year and a half?

I remember bringing up Clemens and steroids on here a long time ago and people shot it down. I even mentioned that the reason he "retired" every year was so he couldn't get tested in the off season. Then he would test himself untill clean and "come back out of retirement".

Next thing you know we'll be hearing that the Cubs haven't won the World Series in 100 years.

I heard a MLB Ref talking about this and he brought up a great point. If you get down to the brass tacks, there were a lot more players taking that stuff then we know about. You might as well put an astric next to all the number from the early 90's to a couple years ago.

I've been saying this too. Call it the steroid era and move on!

I was referencing further evidence stacked against him...

Your lack of analogy makes me laugh:dull:

I'm having a hard time seeing what is new here. Wasn't it reported a couple months ago that the syringes that McNamee had had Clemens' DNA on it?

I still don't understand why so many people use steroids in baseball. It just doesn't make sense

No testing, easy to obtain, if done correctly very little side effect if any... and don't kid yourself, it's not JUST baseball...

On top of what cybsball said, for a lot of guys, the decision is either use steroids and be a big leaguer or stay clean and stay in the minors or find a new job.

Yes ... but now they know what the syringes contained. In other words, they weren't just B12 injections.

I think this article was in reference to actual paraphernalia belonging to Clemens himself.. Brand new information

Guaranteed contracts.....jack up your stats to get that contract. I'd do it, too.
