Well to be honest, I was going to. I didn't get to the JUCO's either because you can hear towards the tail end of the interview the PA announcer say that the previous game had ended. Well I interviewed Georges before his game and he still needed to change and warm up so I ended it then. Didn't want him to be late.
I too was pleasantly surprised with Nader's build, Chris. And I was thinking the other day he has (in the short clips I've watched) some resemblance to Royce and his game...
he was listed at 225 on NIU's website last season. He definitely looks bigger than 225 - I'd say 235. I don't imagine he's going to get pushed around. With he and Georges' continued training, I expect they'll be a crazy tough, skilled post-combo in '14-'15. I'm sure CFH is already drawing up ways to attack with the two.
I like the team spirit that Niang always seems to express. Seems like he has his head on straight, enjoys the game, and can honestly praise his teammates. On and off the floor, he makes others better, and thus makes the team better. He could go down in ISU history as a true fan favorite.
