Anybody have any lines they really like? I’ve always been hesitant to bet real money but I’m doing a sports book game on Reddit to test my luck. Here are a few that are intriguing to me.
Akron +36.5 at Auburn
Auburn is tweaking their offensive system with their new head coach and my guess is that there will be some growing pains. Akron is terrible and offensively challenged but if they score at all, I bet they cover. Auburn could win 42-10 or 38-3 and Akron would still get the cover. If I were actually betting I would wait for that line to get as high as it’s going to get and bet Akron.
Oklahoma -27 at Tulane
To me, if this game were in Norman the Sooners be a no-brainer. I would figure Oklahoma scores in the 40s or 50s and Tulane scores in the teens. Something like 45-17 or 52-14. The one thing that gives me a little cause for pause is that it’s on the road. Is Tulane going to come out all juiced up and keep it close for a half?
Miami (OH) +23 at Cincinnati
Not really going on much here other than a hunch and the fact that it’s a rivalry game. The last two games in the series were Cincy by 22 and Cincy by 21, but other than that it’s usually a close game. Miami is a mid-level MAC team. Is Cincinnati going to go in with a big head and get a scare from a school that still sees them as their biggest rival?
