Too many defensive scheme break downs where the help defense is not rotating fast enough. I saw Curtis Jones allowed Zeke Mayo to shoot an open uncontested three during the late stages. Yes, Kansas had already secured victory; however, Curtis Jones' body language looked bad. The team appears to be on life support.

One upside is, when the team goes into a funk like this, I don't waste my time watching them. Gives me a few hours back per week. When they decide to start playing again, I can resume.

I'm still bullish on this team, but... Was it "bad shooting" as the players suggest in this article, or was it bad offense (combined with really good defense)? To my eyes, the shots were anything but easy. We had a bunch of contested threes late in the shot clock and off-balance twos.

Coaches will need to look at what Arizona, K-State and Kansas did to them and adjust. One thing, Kansas sagged 12 feet off the two centers when they had it at the top of the key. As well as Dishon normally hits his free-throws, I wonder if he should shoot a "keep 'em honest" three now and then. (I'm not trying to suggest this is the best adjustment, just the one that was most obvious while watching.)
