Ordered a pallet of lumberjack pellets with a couple of my friends. Seasoning I always mix different types until I like the taste.

We need pics!!! What kind of smoker did you get?

Technically I didn't get a new one (sadly), but my brother in law got a new big fancy Traeger. No pics as that was long gone before I posted.

Dang! I've wanted to go in with people to do this. I'm down to 3 bags of competition blend.

I think CF'ers have done this in the past, and it's been talked about multiple times. I know a few post on here who live in Ankeny that might be game for a split. Maybe we can get this done sometime, just need to know someone who has experience purchasing a palletfull,

Chuck roast? Haven't seen that yet, can you provide a picture? Sounds good!
.

I don’t have a picture, but it basically turns out like pulled pork. We made sandwiches out of it today, but ate it last night by itself. We have two more chuck roasts sitting in the freezer and found a YouTube video on how to smoke it

Great recipes, tips, and product reviews. Got me turned on to my new grill, the Masterbuilt 560 Charcoal Gravity Fed. I used it twice this weekend and it was fantastic and great to use.

Are there any good all in one, charcoal, LP, and smoker combos out there? I have one of each and wouldn’t mind consolidating. My master built electric is a pain to clean and as of a couple weeks ago doesn’t heat anymore (I’d like something that gets hot enough to cook off all the leftover stuff and make cleaning easier). The gas grill was a cheap purchase for the ease of firing up and cooking right away. The weber charcoal grill is nice but takes a while to heat up and in most instances if I have the time, I’d likely smoke something but like that for intermediate timeframes.

Yeah, I reverse sear cooked the steaks. Put them on for 45-60 minutes at 215 degrees and then cranked the grill up to 700 to put the sear on them.
That range is awesome

My question has always been when I watched the demo was, how do you shut it down when you are done?
