Celtics or Lakers?

I am so glad Ball is going to the Lakers and not the Celtics. Not worth the headache.

I was in high school when Kobe and Shaq were dominating the NBA, so I loved the Lakers back then. Respect Bostons history though

I cheered for the Lakers back in the day. And I don't remember it being such a big racial thing in the 80's. The Lakers were cool and Showtime was exciting. The Celtics weren't. That was it.

I don't remember it being a big racial thing either. I was in high school / college during the '80s. In my white rural American high school, my friends who cared about the NBA were actually Sixer fans (Dr. J, Dawkins, Toney), and I was the only Laker fan. As I recall, nobody really liked the Celtics. Dunking was the cool thing, and the Lakers and Sixers did alot of it...
