Yeah, it's pretty weak with only one week of play. We are 62 in other polls I've seen. I'd put us around 65-70 right now.

How in the world can anybody rank 25 teams let alone 120? I tried to watch as many games as I could and so I could likely rank 15-20 teams, then the rest would be from box scores. It's impossible after 1 week for sure unless you used all stats and assigned them a value minus the level of competition. With 1 week, nobody has played the same team as another team. No way to compare until at least week 2.

Well put, but yeah, I thought even our box score looked decent enough to merit a little better than that haha. :wink: Even still, Im not buying into a single set of rankings until at least week 5.

Tennessee must have had a good loss last night since they moved up a couple spots.

They moved Tennessee up two spots after losing.
Arkansas is at 56 after their 4 point win over Western Illinois.
50-100 is a crap shoot right now.

New Mexico State did not play and they went up as far as we did.

I looked at the 9 teams ahead of us and we should move up a bunch this week, as if it really matters. Troy, Texas-El Paso, Toledo, and San Jose St are all ranked in the 9 above us and will all lose. Also, I believe odds favor 3 of the remaining 5 losing as well. We will win, so we should move up as a 2-0 team.

:biglaugh: I remember when Iowa destroyed Ball State. All my friends were talking so much trash about how they were going to dominate us and if memory serves me correct, that was the same year we won 23-3.
