If anyone deserves a breakout season, it's this guy. I hope for his sake he can get another shot @ post season play.

He was one of our best blocking receivers the last couple seasons. The offensive staff's kind of failed him the last couple years, hopefully this year is a different story.

He seemed very humble about it from his quote.

Our best all-around WR IMO, but QB could pass him. Hopefully MM's offense will get him the ball in space and on the move. Let QB, DM, and Bibbs clear some room for West and Wimberly.

last year was such a nightmare with injuries, I forgot that he missed that many games. Jarvis is one of those guys that never seemed to get that block to break him free. Hopefully the new offensive staff can figure something out for him, because in an open field he is electric.

It's insane how much Yancy develops these players. Hopefully we finally have an OC who can capitalize on it.

He was probably using straps though.

Great article. Can't wait to see Jarvis this year.

His quote about getting in trouble for trying to find open space sheds light on the last few years.

This. It seems so easy, but if Sam can connect with QB & DVM down the field, then just imagine how open that short middle is. Get Jarvis the ball on-the-move across the middle, and let him work in open space.

It disappoints me how much he's been overlooked in favor of our taller receivers this off season. He's been overshadowed by the tall new guys like Lazard and Montgomery but don't sell Jarvis short. He can play a BIG role for us this fall as our slot receiver.

Well, if football doesn't work out for him, he has a future in power lifting.
The American Squat record (Raw, no wraps) for the 165lb weight class is 550lbs.

Hmmmm. This sounds promising. Throw to an open receiver in space. How novel. Mangenius>>>Mess.

Q: How much do Hawkeye football players squat?
A: Frequently (whenever they have to urinate).
