Location of the Wrestling Tailgate for tomorrow's game! The Iowa Pork Producers and Fareway will provide food and drink. Come tailgate with the wrestlers!

Yes. Attendance was OK. Drizzle early may have kept some away. But it cleared off just in time to dry the mats out. We had recruits in plus the two commits Rojas & Swiderski. The fans are going to love both of them. Great families and they can't wait to be Cyclones. Emilio Ysaguirre Jr. was there. They hope to get a commit from him. The 3 time state champ from Cresco was there. Nate & Linda Carr. Kyven, Joe Gibbons, Jim Duesuch, Eric Voelker, Justin Greenley showed. Heard good things on talent of P. Johnson. Nate Schon from PA. isn't in Ames yet. He had knee surgery. Those two along with Gabe Greenley will gray shirt. The team was working hard and it was fun time,
Coleman will go 184.
We need more to show for the next tailgate. We will have recruits in again.
If we get the guys they are after. We could have the # 1 class for 2022

They haven't announced it. Was hoping before the Iowa Game. Watch for it.. It will be posted here.

Just a suggestion - I wonder if they can have this practice closer to JTS next time. I would have loved to go but it was out of the way from where I was tailgating.

If it’s before the Iowa game they won’t get much traffic with GameDay being here - I’m guessing having it away from the stadium you don’t get the same crowd as you do when you have more people passing by

If Gameday is where it was 2 years ago and they could get mats in the North or East side somehow, that could provide some nice attention. Could be showcased on Gameday too.

The University wouldn't allow them to have it over by the stadium. Things have changed with the additions and needing every bit of space available.

We're hosting another C-RTC outdoor mat practice at Lied Recreation Center on Saturday! Come tailgate with us at 11:30 a.m. before cheering on the Cyclones at Jack Trice Stadium. Go Cyclones!
