I'm curious if there will be further changes to the Lynx starting line-up. Cheryl was very disappointed in the energy of the team to start the game - resulting in a 22 point deficit. She played a different lineup for the heart of the game and that lineup brought them back into the game. She let them finish it and they almost got it done being just down by two in the closing moments but couldn't get the shot they needed to make it a new ball game.

Last night was an 8p/5r/5a game for Bridget. As of now, her cumulative WNBA stats are better than all other former ISU players combined in these categories:

Minutes: 462 vs 446
Starts: 10 vs 0
FG: 43 vs 21
3FG: 19 vs 12
Rebounds: 61 vs 51
Assists: 41 vs 29
Steals: 12 vs 11
Total Points: 116 vs 93

She's behind in:
FT: 11 vs 39 (Frese was 33 of 36 from the line in her career)
Offensive Rebounds: 14 vs 16 (Pop had 9 in only 63 career minutes)
Blocks: 0 vs 1 (Lacey has ISU's lone WNBA block)

Frese really had a solid season for the Starzz in 2000. Per 40 minutes, her numbers were similar to Bridget. She just played a lot fewer minutes. She also wasn't the defender Bridget is.

Frese in 2000:
10.6 min per game
11.2 pts per 40
3.2 reb per 40
3.1 ast per 40
0.7 stl per 40

Carleton in 2020:
24.8 min per game
10.7 pts per 40
5.4 reb per 40
3.8 ast per 40
1.1 stl per 40

She didn't score tonight in her 28 minutes of play (1 missed fg, 2 missed ft) but her 10 assists to 0 turnovers were quite a performance.

2 missed FT that's pretty unusual for her.

Minnesota survives and advances, 80-79. Bridget was matched up defensively on Taurasi a fair amount, but she may have defended just about every position on the floor at some point during the game.

Semifinals start Sunday against either Las Vegas or Seattle -- matchup will be determined after tonight's late game.
