Does anyone remember the Sueppel murders in Iowa City in 2008?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iowa_City_Sueppel_murders

The entire family went to mass on Easter, and later that night Steven Suepell killed his wife and 4 kids at their house, called 911 to report an emergency, then drove himself into a concrete pillar at 80mph and died.

A year later, the house went on the market, and sold in 2009. Seems like a great house in a great neighborhood. But after only a year? I probably couldn't swing that.

this is a interesting book that i read awhile back.
Yeah, I read that 5 years ago. It was very interesting and the two guys who started it were from just outside the Quad-Cities. They now run one of the largest cleanup companies (of this type) in the U.S.

Yeah, but every case is different. I mean we bought our house in WDM that was clearly an old persons home. A little neighbor boy came around soon after and asked did you know the old lady died in your house? No, but it was a pretty reasonable assumption. Not a big deal at all but the situation is a lot different as well.

So what if you murder all the people that were directly affected by the first murders?

Either way, you don't have to make up stories if you host haunted festivities.

While we're not actually on the subject, why the hell did people insist on continuing to go back to Crystal Lake years and years after there was literally murders taking place from a dead dude out of the lake?

But the Realtor add doesn't mention anything about 5 murders. I wonder if you are supposed to disclose that in the sellers disclosure?

Yes it has to be disclosed. My mother died in our home where she was in hospice. Being a natural death we were okay. If it had not been we had to check the other box

As much as I'd like to be able to say that it wouldnt bother me, I dont think I could tolerate all the noises that normal house does without thinking that these were spirits or something like that. And I'm pretty sure I'd have to run up every set up steps to avoid being followed up the steps.

Did the house near Bondurant sell where the 24 year old murdered his family a little over a year ago?

Yep. The murder happened on April 7, 2017, and the house sold later that year on November 3rd. Not sure how accurate Zillow is on this, but it said it sold for $192,500, yet it is assessed at $412,900. If that's true, that is an absolute steal, regardless of what happened there 6 months earlier.

Not exactly sure.
I honestly didn't care for the house outside or inside. I like trees, but I want to be able to see some landscape and hate having to pull ticks off myself all the time. This looks like lyme disease central.
