Bolder icons?

I have noticed the "Report post" button looks much more enticing now, kind of that don't push the red button phenomenon (When you know you really want to push it all the time). I do like all the extra "little" touches that have been updated lately, it is like a miniature scavenger hunt. :smile:

The new thread and post reply buttons were gold for me a while ago but no purple or pink.

No, the white above and below the threads was pinkish, and the threads were purply for a while.

You definitely notice the buttons more this way, don't really have a preference one way or another.

I am liking the red bottons. Maybe make the font a little sharper and not so round and it will look nice.

What would you want changed about them? Obviously just about everything is different about the new ones so any help is appreciated so I don't mess anything up Is round vs rectangle better? Bold vs some-what plain?

That was the next step but I wanted to get the initial style down first. Once everybody settles on some common ground, I'll make sure all the small touches look good.

ok, I like the red, but my website look and feel radar is going off.

Suggestion: Make the logged in logo the same look and feel as the rep/report logos, it looks kinda goofy with them being differnt. Maybe take the red button from the rep/report, and leave the red buttons for the other things. I love the thread and reply buttons.

I'm not feeling any love for the "heart rep icon" ... A little fruitly for my tastes, the "report post" one is fine as long as you get rid of the yellow box.

Basically Brain will never recieve rep again if I have to click on a little heart. I know its 2007, but I just can't do it man.

I think they look good. Although I'm more of a functionality person than a "how does it look" person.

But I do agree about the online icon, that sticks out because everything else is red.

It does not look like a yellow box on my linux box. It looks more like a yellow outline of the red circle, but the background colors of the image do not match the background color of the grey area.
