I have no doubt that he can bring some help in game/practice management and X&O's, but what kind of recruiter can we expect and where does he have ties?

Not much of a recruiter. You can only have three guys on the road at once anyway. So if he's the guy might as well have Fred, Mann, and Matt A do the recruiting.

Which of course does not really sell the hire...How are Sadler's connections? Although it is likely he will not be around long enough for that to matter.


With Otz leaving, we lose both a recruiter and competent basketball mind. It would be great to hire someone that can replace both equally well, but with only Mann and Matt A, we absolutely need another coach deft in game planning and scouting. Sadler is a solid get in that regard, especially if he stays more than a year.
