Bill Fennelly will be quarantining starting today after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

Jodi Steyer will take over, and could be the head coach when the Cyclones take on No. 1 South Carolina.

Might be right. Both men's and women's Gopher hoops squads have lost weeks of practice since the start due to Covid.

Edit: Now Saturdays Gopher Badgers football game just postponed/cancelled.

They said the same thing about MLB, then college football, then the NFL. Yet here we are, still chugging along. Players want to play, coaches want to play, fans want to play, schools want to play, TV networks want to play. They're gonna play.

I don’t think he missed any game at all that season because the issue was found during the off season and he finished the treatment around December IIRC

As far as covid is concerned - so far so good. Injuries - not so good. Concussion to Moon earlier but she has recovered and scheduled to start tonight. Severe spinal cord damage to Richards that threatened to be season ending - but apparently she has amazed the doctors. Is now practicing again with the team. ACL tear to the PennSt transfer. She wasn't qualified to play this year but sad none the less. They say the Baylor men are now heading to a tourney in Vegas after they were pressured to pull out of the Mohegan classic due to Drews positive test.

He probably needed steyer to relay stuff at least since is voice was basically gone. At minimum she should have been at least going through the motions.
