Realize that I'ts late but thinking about getting a room in KC for Tourney. Anyone score any good deals lately?
Prefer something close to Power and Light.

Also, has anyone ever had luck getting on a cancellation list during the Tourney?

If I wasn't already hosting 3-7 people, I'd rent out my couches.

I've had luck with this, but it is no bargain. You still end up paying premium prices.

Hotel Phillips is pretty cool. Average price for a room during the tourney is probably $250 a night.

There isn't a deal to be had of you want to stay downtown... In the past I've had better luck down by the plaza, plus a lot of those hotels run shuttles up the P&L so you usually only need to Uber one way.

I'd recommend the $93 Hotwire 'Hot Deal'. Should be the Sheraton Crown Center or Westin Crown Center (if I had to guess). Also use code 30NCFEB2019 for an additional $30 bucks off.
