Bill Snyder claimed a few years ago that several of the former conference mates regretted their moves.
Colorado for sure and Mizzou I'm guessing. Maybe swap Mizzou for Nebby.

ACC would be my only guess of who would take WV.

Like I said my OP, if ACC wanted WV, they would be in the conference now. When they expanded last time they took, Louisville, Pitt, BC, but would not take WV. What has changed since the last go around that has improved WV chances if the league folds? Nothing that I can see. But boy it you go to their board and say it, you are attacked by their fan base. Everyone will want WV, according to them.

Well that's because they are the most professional fan base.

I'd guess CU is indeed happy with their move. As I understand it a huge chunk of their alumni base are from / live in California (more than any other state). CU fits right in to the Pac imo. I would take them back in a heartbeat but if the Pac is viable; they'll be there.

BC joined the ACC in 2005, a year after VT and Miami. WVU was one of the Big East schools that filed lawsuits in an attempt to stop those moves.

Pitt and Syracuse applied to, and were accepted by, the ACC in September 2011.

The Big 12 invited WVU in October 2011.

Louisville accepted an ACC invite in November 2012.

The Cyclones in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for a conference game would be wild.....

The Trojans at Jack Trice Stadium MID-AMERICAN FIELD would also be wild....

I think you mean United Airlines Field at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum

The big 12 needs to be putting out feelers to the Arizona schools, and see if they would be willing to leave the Pac 12 and join the big 12 in the next 5 years. They will probley not want too, but it sure would not hurt to check it out.

Adding the AZ schools would lower the conference's athletic GPA by at least 25% o_O
