Iowa State got 2 of these. Callie Logue in cross country and Kene Nwangwu in football. He graduated with a 3.76 in mechanical engineering. That’s super impressive!

I always love when it's not just "scholar athlete" good, it's just plain scholar good.
No doubt. Personally, I wouldn’t have hacked as an engineering major but I was roommates with an ME, so I lived that particular hell
We hear so much about how smart Kolar is and while I knew Kene has been academic all big 12, I didn’t realize he was crazy smart.
As a ME graduate from ISU who got just above a 3.0 while working part time all through college this is damn impressive. Major kudos to Kene. I have so much respect for him.
Kene has been just an awesome representative of our University, he will be missed.

I worked part time through school and graduated with an engineering degree and a 2.93 GPA. I was just happy to graduate!
It would be great. But he might just be ready to be done. Hell, he might have a job lined up.
