No idea where the other thread went, but here's a new one. Iowa getting kicked by Purdue right now.
Haas has had a few fouls called on him just for being bigger and stronger.
Yeahbuddy's best 3 point shooter Garza opened the game with consecutive air balls.
Haas is a big dude
I will say Garza is the only one out there that looks like he wants to compete.
All Cook can bring is a SportsCenter worthy ball slap.
true to Fran's form, Cook has not really improved much since last year - especially defensively. For as highly regarded as he was, ask yourself - would you rather have Cook or Lard on your team? Lard has shown tons more improvement since the beginning of the season.
Purdue looks impressive. Their guard play is really good
Those Edwards boys and Hass are serious business
Purdue is real deal but Hoks have a patent on making guards look good.
10 of 11 from 3? That should be illegal
Lol, this is hilarious
We couldn't stop TCU's potent offense - but at least we were competent offensively. Purdue is good - but Iowa's offense is really, really bad (just as bad as their defense today).
This is like a snuff film. Fran should be fired after the game.
Remember how happy Iowa fans were when we lost to Purdue last season? They were finally back to being the premier program in the state!
I'm taking much pleasure from watching this.
That crowd isn't even mad. They're resigned to the fact that Fran is a **** coach, and their Iowa boys aren't good enough to compete at this level.
Dang it! I’m pretty sure YeahBuddy had a post along the lines of “no way Iowa is held to 40 points” in the game today.
Down 31 at half. Iowa has them right where they want them.
Purdue on pace for 22 threes. 51-20 at half. Good game for ESPN and one to give Iowa’s recruits a little preview for next year.
And Purdue was even better last year than they are this year IMO, and we lost by 4 pts to them in the tourney. Take this year's Purdue team, and add Caleb Swanigan (one of the best players in the country last year), and you have the Purdue team we lost to by 4 pts last year.
It would be hilarious if Purdue kept the foot on the gas in the 2nd half and won the game 102-40, but you know that won't happen. Purdue will slow it down and try to run clock, and sub in their 2nd and 3rd stringers.
Just saw the halftime score. Wow.
