Big 10 goes to 18 game schedule

I saw this happened effective immediately. I've felt we should play more conference games since it seems like half the schedule is OOC play. How could we make this work in the Big 12? With one more team and divisions I don't know how it could really. The only way I could see it working is to have 19 games, play everyone in the north twice, half the teams in the south twice, and half the teams in the south once and rotate it every 2 years sort of like we do with football.

I think that would be sweet.

How is the Big 10 doing it? They've got 11 teams, so 10 other teams you can play. Obviously not playing everyone twice...so curious to see what they did.

I'd support the Big 12 doing something like this.

Under the current way, Big 10 teams play most teams twice and 4 teams only once on a rotating schedule. Now they'll play most teams twice and only 2 teams once.
