Interesting...if true...are they hoping that all four accept and then offer one other school to get to 16? Or are they only going to let three of the four offers get in and limit the size to 14? No way do they stop at 15...

Why does the Big 234324 think it is a given that any of those schools will accept.

Uhh, it explains that in the article. Pretty much like an Ultimatum to ND to get on the bus or see ya later. If they join they go to 16, if not they stick with 14.

Money? Which is the reason any school would accept and the reason this whole thing is being talked about.

Of those 4, I think Notre Dame is the only school that won't accept. It's pretty well known that both Rutgers and Mizzou would jump in a heartbeat. The wildcard is Nebraska - are they just playing the Big 12, or are they actually serious.

Missouri has been actively lobbying to join for years, Tom Osborn pretty much said as much several times the last few months, and Rutgers has nothing to lose and everything to gain by the move.

If true, I hope those that said "it will never happen" are starting to realize that this could be one of the darkest days in ISU sports history. Not good, not at all.

I don't want to be a doomsday type of guy...but I could see this being something that bites ISU in the backside! As much as I love ISU...I just don't see what we have to offer a "big" conference in terms of money-making ability! Sorry...
