The 33 best two-sport athletes of all-time
Lettered in football and baseball all 4 years in my 1A Iowa highschool.
No one is even close to him, BO JACKSON. Super tecmo bowl tells you all you need to know about him
I'll always remember this run by Bo:
Bo Jackson was a beast! Makes you wonder what he could have done if he didn't need to quit.
Bo was great. Another that comes to mind is Brian Jordan who was good as an Atlanta Falcon in the NFL and with the Cardinals in Baseball. Also, had Tavian Banks not gone for football, I would suspect he would have had a top notch pro soccer career! He was that good at the JN level!
Bo is definitely in the conversation. I'd probably put Jim Brown ahead of him, though. And Jackie Robinson lettered in four sports at UCLA; nobody does that.
I had always heard that Dave Winfield was drafted in 3 sports out of U of Minn - baseball, football, and basketball. Too lazy to verify, but impressive if true.
Bo Jackson, end of thread.
jim Brown, Jim Thorpe, and Bo!
i am surprised Elway wasnt on this list over many others
Jim. Thorpe. Biathalon and Pentathalon gold medals. That's like... seven sports right there.
Gets recruited to be a Quarterback at Nebraska
All-American college basketball player
Hole in One machine.
Fred Hoiberg, ftw
This list is dumb.
GOLF IS NOT A SPORT.
There is no possible way Jim Thorpe was a better athlete then Bo Jackson. Not in anything. Bo was faster, stronger, and more athletic.
Jim thorpe also played sports before they were integrated.
