oooo never got to try Dutch Oven!

Casey's and Fairway are good...but Hy-Vee wins!

Here's a little hint about the Fareway "bakery" items.... They are frozen items from Pillsbury that are reheated or baked at the store and then decorated. 99% of the stuff they sell in the bakery isn't "made" in the store.

really? that's lame. Haven't had them since I was in Ames. They recently put a Hy-Vee on my side of the town and their donuts are awesome.

really? that's lame. Haven't had them since I was in Ames. They recently put a Hy-Vee on my side of the town and their donuts are awesome.

Yeah, it kind of sucks. I worked there and was kind of mad they touted their bakery when in reality, the dough's were made in the Pillsbury factory. Hy-Vee's donuts are amazing though.

Yup old Taco Bell on Sheldon/Lincoln Way, can't open soon enough!

I lived in that townhouse complex behind Taco Bell for a year. So glad that was not a Dunkin Donuts a decade ago - I would have left ISU even more obese than I was when I graduated.

Not to hijack but where do people get milkshakes in Ames? I haven't found any that are all that good or not like dairy queen.
