Well the only yr that would have been better for a self imposed ban would have been last yr.

I’ve never understood self imposed bans. It seems like a cop out, and the NCAA allows this?? I should have tried this in high school with my parents. “OK, I know I skipped class but I’m imposing myself a punishment of one weekend of no TV. I’m sure they would go for that.

So they determined that the absolute best punishment is to allow the players to run around Waco unsupervised throughout the bowl season/holiday break? Seems reasonable to me...

If I were the NCAA I'd say " The Bowl Ban will only be valid the next time you qualify."

They won on e game last year. They might as well self impose a ban from the World Series while they are a it.

How about you cut 10 schollies in addition to the bowl ban...you get them back after 4 years.

Or maybe you take control of your frickin' football program and stop the bad stuff from happening.
