I see Babb took the final shot, out of a time out. I was on game tracker, was it a designed play for him or was it a scramble?

You can't deny Hoiberg's developmental prowess. He knows how to get players ready for the NBA, both mentally and basketballically.

Just looking at the box score, it's easy to tell that Babb had quite the night. His 12 points were only one point off from the team high (Phil Pressey had 13 in 28 minutes), but Babb did his damage in just 8 minutes of playing time. Also, his +/- was +20, easily the highest on the Celtics. Hopefully the coaching staff will keep giving him more of a chance to shine.

Philadelphia plays Boston Friday in a preseason game. Hopefully Babb and White get to play against each other for a while. From the Royce article in the other thread it sounds like he may play a bit.

I don't know if Babb will make a roster this year, but I could see him be like DG and float around for a year and land somewhere. I've never liked the Celtics, but Brad Stevens was my favorite non-Hoiberg college coach, so it would be fun if he could make the team this year.
