Help: Avatars on Mobile Site

When using the mobile site, half of everyones avatars are showing up as broken and it's starting to make threads hard to read. On the full site they all show up just fine. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, using an HTC One Android phone. Started within the last few weeks.
