Anyone have any thoughts as to whether or not this movie is kid friendly?

Swearing, blue alien side-boob, and animated war violence. The story itself isn't anymore adult than say Star Wars.

The language would be my only concern.

how old are your kids? If they saw GI Joe they're good to go.

I would say no but it depends on how old your kids are. If they are under 10 I think the animals in the movie would scare them

It can't scare kids anyworse than Where the Wild Things Are. Damn, that's creepy. It's like the Neverending Story for a new generation.

This movie's pretty much a sci-fi version of Dances with Wolves. You be the judge on what you let your kids watch

I thought The Langoliers was a good movie. I also liked The Green Mile. I guess I like any movie that is based off one of Stephen King's books.

The language is fairly prevalent -- standard military-speak. No f-bombs, fortunately. We did take our 8 & 6-year olds to it. (We've talked a lot to them about language and not focusing on it when on TV/movies)

Post of the Day! It should have been in the "Random Posts about Authors" forum.

Blue alien side boob in 3D!!! Whoohooo:jiggy:

My 11 year old saw it, and there's really nothing that made me cringe for his age.
