Saw this article on the front page of the Big XII website. Talks a pretty decent amount about both Nebraska and ISU.

* Iowa State is the No. 2 seed. It's the first time in the women's Championship that the top two seeds are from North Division schools. The last No. 1 seed from the North was Iowa State in 2000. South teams have won the title 10 times.

Nebraska and Iowa State, the top two seeds, figure to have superior fan support. Huskers fans have traveled well to support Yori's teams this season and Cyclones fans are famous for turning Municipal Auditorium into Hilton Coliseum South (especially when Iowa State won the tournament in 2000 and 2001). Should both teams defend their seedings, Sunday's championship game would be a raucous affair.

"I'm sure the local merchants of Kansas City are rooting for us," Iowa State coach Bill Fennelly said. "We help business."
