One school buys players and the other school gives them credits for pretend courses to keep them eligible. And the NCAA allows them both to play for the national championship. What a pathetic joke.

It’s to basketball what SEC is to football. Been the best in depth and computer rankings for a good 15 years but now the titles and championship games to go with it.

All with 4 or 5 less teams than other major conferences.

It’s only getting better too with adding Cincy and Houston’s quality programs. BYU has been decent too

Very disappointed.

Was hoping to wake up to headlines of a fight so bad that they had to eject all the players and no one won.

Or the FBI came and took away Self while the Addias CEO booed him off the court.

Oh well.

I didn't watch, but, strictly for my pool I wanted KU to win. That said, the only team I really didn't hate in the Final 4 was Villanova.

3 championships played, one OT loss and 2 wins for Big XII. The most impressive is that it was 3 different teams. KU was probably favored to win 2020.
Here's an analysis you won't see anywhere:
30% of the Big 12 teams in the Sweet 16.
20% of ACC.
16.5% of PAC12.
14% of B1G.
10% of Big East.
7% of SEC.

Unless these numbers favor the TV network's chosen ones, they are taboo!

I was not rooting for either school. Just a battle of 2 dirty run programs that have never really been held accountable for their shady dealings all these years. With the NIL its only going to get worse now too now that there are "legal" ways to financially entice players to the blueblood programs.

Not gonna happen.

I'd guess Covid or something else gets blamed for the B1G being so underwhelming.
Tom Kakert thinks the reason the B1G underperforms in the tournament is the conference is so good and it is such a grind the teams are worn out by the end of the season. He said this on the radio. I about did a spit take when I heard it.

Celebrate today and let the NCAA drop the hammer on them tomorrow (you gotta dream once in awhile).

Not sure how anybody could think that after watching ISU beat the regular season and tourney champs like a rented mule.

KU played easily the hardest conference schedule in the nation (other than the other big 12 teams), won that best conference’s tournament, then had enough juice to go 6-0 in the dance.

Wisconsin got bi+ch slapped by big 12’s 7th place team in a home game.

Just change the name to "We Grind Our Meat Conference". Tired of all the trolls saying how tough (laughing) the schedule in the B1G is no matter what sport it is.

I think there was some truth to this 10+ years ago. Now, not so much.

Cheater he be, Bill can coach. At halftime, I said to myself: I've seen this act before. And sure enough, Ku hangs its 4th banner. That's one less than the pending NCAA level-1 violations against the program. Oh, the irony of it all.

This is exactly correct. ESPN never puts it in percentages because it is not the story they want to push - any time somebody gives you raw numbers and no other info to put it in perspective they don't want you to know the truth.

This is why the SEC has struggled in the football playoffs.
