Both coaches are the coaches that replaced Roy Williams at their respective school. Kind of an interesting factoid about this game. These schools have a lot of linked history. Also, Kansas under Roy beat UNC and Hubert Davis in the Final Four in '91 in Davis's final year at UNC.

Fun fact - the word factoid means something that was invented and then repeated so often it becomes accepted as fact. The replacement coaches are not a factoid.

I just kept doubling down betting Kansas even when down big because was so convinced they were better and would make run. Financially a nice night, but tough to truly enjoy them winning knowing all the BS behind the scenes they pull.

I know all teams are dirty to some level but I don’t know if anyone else listens to the Wetzel and Forde pod but they really went in how Kansas turned on there adidas handler when he got caught and is now in prison for doing there dirty work. Very eye opening, I hadn’t really dug into details before hearing that.

All with 4 or 5 less teams than other major conferences.
