Both coaches are the coaches that replaced Roy Williams at their respective school. Kind of an interesting factoid about this game. These schools have a lot of linked history. Also, Kansas under Roy beat UNC and Hubert Davis in the Final Four in '91 in Davis's final year at UNC.
Fun fact - the word factoid means something that was invented and then repeated so often it becomes accepted as fact. The replacement coaches are not a factoid.

The current use of the word factoid is probably in itself a factoid

This is embarassing. If ******* TJ Gassnola can’t buy better players than this then he can GTFO. No way should he let Hall of Fame down like this. If I’m Tuco I’m pissed. You pay good money to win games like this.

I don't know what's going on here but it didn't age well.

I just kept doubling down betting Kansas even when down big because was so convinced they were better and would make run. Financially a nice night, but tough to truly enjoy them winning knowing all the BS behind the scenes they pull.

Cheering for the NCAA to vacate the championship. Not that I'll ever expect the NCAA to have the balls to hold KU accountable for their actions.

Big XII brethren and can't stand Manek who left the Big XII. Easy choice.

Why is Braun pronounced Brown and not Brawn like everyone else?

Last 3 championships played, one OT loss and 2 wins for Big XII. The most impressive is that it was 3 different teams. KU was probably favored to win 2020.

Money in the bank you ****** nerds. 3 straight championship game appearances by 3 different teams and two champs. Maybe the big 12 finally gets the respect It deserves rather than big 10 ACC ball washing that’s jammed down our throats.

I know all teams are dirty to some level but I don’t know if anyone else listens to the Wetzel and Forde pod but they really went in how Kansas turned on there adidas handler when he got caught and is now in prison for doing there dirty work. Very eye opening, I hadn’t really dug into details before hearing that.

Not gonna happen.

I'd guess Covid or something else gets blamed for the B1G being so underwhelming.
