That would largely be ISU faculty and staff who live in Ames -who fill lots of seats on Ames' boards, commissions, and city council - who seem to want to keep it small...People in Ames dont like change.

Did Ames ever get their issues worked out with their outdoor aquatics? I heard that they were having major leakage issues at their lazy river (I think) and they couldn't figure out where the leak was.
