What is the location of the proposed aquatic center and hotel complex? Why not wait and see if the Entertainment complex ever gets finalized?

This will get built - and badly needed. It has broad community support. The redevelopment on Lincolnway, plus the plaza, are great ideas too.

Surprised that Ames doesn't have something like this already. A lot of smaller cities have one.

they talked about building an aquatic center when I was in school (04-09). Did that ever get done?

Did Ames ever get their issues worked out with their outdoor aquatics? I heard that they were having major leakage issues at their lazy river (I think) and they couldn't figure out where the leak was.

Yes, they were resolved.

Thinking the guy from FlexSeal was there cutting a promo. Worked out well for both sides.;)
