Like I said, I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong on this. I personally haven't heard from my people one way or the other. But even if someone does know, they aren't going to call out their sources by "proving it" and yes, JP does talk more than people may think

Fred and NU are down nearly 40 to Iowa and TJ can’t beat anyone over .500 this year. What are we doing here?

Three practical options:
1. Fred leaks this because he does want out and wants to garner support for a return.
2. Pollard leaks this out so he can tell people he tried but Nebraska’s buyout was too stiff to overcome.

I’d go #3 in a landslide followed but #1 with #2 a distant third.
#1 and #2 make perfect sense if you believe this:
