I don't want to be "that guy" but My second cousin plays with Jay at Union and my cousin said we are recruiting Jay pretty hard...and he said at this point Jay is leaning our way as e wants to be a QB. Again, small town chatter...but promising.

Like Messi said, I have heard the exact opposite, both from "small town chatter" and from premium recruiting articles. I would be incredibly surprised if Iowa doesn't get both Scheel and Render, and Pierschbacher will be going either to Iowa or to an out of state school. There really is a lot of high end talent in Iowa for 2014.

I think we're well over our limit already, but you can't say no to guys like Campos and this Lewis kid if he wants to commit. Somehow Rhoads will make it work.
