I think there are a lot of factors at play here but this absolutely has to help.Maybe the new facility is paying off already.
It does make one wonder what happens if OU or UT shows up knocking at the door.
I don't want to be "that guy" but My second cousin plays with Jay at Union and my cousin said we are recruiting Jay pretty hard...and he said at this point Jay is leaning our way as e wants to be a QB. Again, small town chatter...but promising.
Fixed that for ya. I've never been a big fan of signing Iowa kids just to be signing Iowa kids...Our last two commits?
4 stars.
And as Andy Fales has said - the tide hasn't completely turned, but times are a changin'. We are winning the best in-state recruits.
Not going to hype him, but I think maybe better. But the same type of landmark recruit for the program.Next Todd Blythe?
I wonder if that's why Shane Burnham tweeted this earlier today:
Coach Shane Burnham @ShaneBurnham52
HUGE DAY!!!!!!! Can't begin to describe how excited I am about what's happening here at Iowa State.#cyclONEnation#NotYourFathersIowaState
Usually he does after a huge commitment.
I thought the same thing when I saw that earlier. For that reason alone he is a good follow on twitter.
HN possible excuses.
We didn't want him.
He's too soft.
He has bad grades.
We got better players.
He wants to play at high school stadiums.
I think they'll have a source that says he likes to win and he won't at Iowa. Yeah, that sounds good.
Thats all water under the bridge gmackey. All but good times now. Cant give rep im on my phone
He doesn't tweet often, but when he does, it's usually important. When I saw it earlier, I was hoping it would be Andre Lewis, but I'm even more excited for Lazard.
