I still think we see a completely new alt uniform for UT. ISU Equipment has been hinting all year that something new is coming and it has to be for Texas. If we went with all Gold, I would be very disappointed in ISU blowing an opportunity to break out new uniforms for a national TV broadcast.
Just a new helmet. New uniforms are next year.
I'd prefer a gold (yellow) lid, but could easily be matte anthracite.
Love that we have a third helmet color, but im not sure about the all yellows. However, if the team wants to do it, I'm all for it. I think people on here get to sensitive about what other people may think of them.

I'm on board with liking them. Have always thought we should emphasize the gold more, since it is a school color unlike say charcoal...I'm not bashing the grey look, but don't get the gold hate.
The all-golds look better for schools who have a blue/navy as their primary color since yellow and blue complement each other well. The all-gold with cardinal is too garish and -- dare I agree with Hawkfan -- Ronald McDonald-ish.
I think the all-gold would look fine if it were predominantly paired with gray/anthracite, to temper some of that garishness, and peppered with bits of cardinal for identity continuity.

Point being, whatever ISU equipment was hinting at, I bet we see it for the UT game. I am hoping we see a new alt uniform (for example the grey uniform surprise last year) unvelied for the UT game.
This. I'm all for playing up the gold, but that is cheap Riddell high school jersey yellow.
