I stopped reading when it said "First, we're going to run down some of the best bench players remaining" and Naz Long wasn't named.

Edozie!

Probably fair though, he hasn't really had a chance to show his value. His minutes this year have to be pretty miniscule compared to every other starter.

I hope Kane takes this personal. Napier is going to get shown up just like Marcus Smart. I do hope though, that Kane doesn't go into his 1v1 hero ball bullcrap too much to prove his point.

How does Long not get listed in the off the bench section?

Second all those that are ****** Naz is off this list. How can you leave the best clutch shooter off the list. Stupid.

They probably only looked at stats. Naz's season stats aren't that impressive (7 pts, 1.5 reb, 1.2 a, .409 3% in 20 min), but he has come on incredibly here at the end of the season. In the last 7 games he has upped those numbers to (10 pts, 2.3 reb, 1.6 a, .545 3% in 25 min) and that doesn't reflect how clutch he has been when the game is on the line. The guy didn't have time to look at all 80 starters in depth to say nothing of all of the bench players on those 16 teams.

Using the ranks as a proxy for starting 5 quality, disregarding actual stats to come up with a completely meaningless way to summarize this article (which I think is a really cool concept, BTW):

Michigan State158
Arizona159
Kentucky168
Florida172
Louisville173
Wisconsin184
Iowa State187
Tennessee190
Baylor190
Michigan200
UCLA204
Stanford205
UCONN231
Virginia234
San Diego State275
Dayton310

Seems about right. Surprised a bit to see Michigan that low. Shows how much Kentucky has underperformed with all of their talent. Virginia still gets no respect as a 1 seed that had a great season. ISU would easily be at the top with Niang conservatively in the mid 30's above Hogue replacing the 80 from Edozie as a token starter in the UNC game.

The comparison of the totals Kicked came up with would be more meaningful if each team started their best 5 players and each team only played those 5 players.

I agree, it is still interesting to look at, though.
