Purdy has one of the best arms in the country and this has been proven with a large sample size

Ok but yesterday and against Louisiana Lafayette his arm wasn't one of the best in the country?

It was one game for Petra's and his QB rating wasn't awful.

Maybe he is the guy who called sound off when high. I caught about half, but that was painful to listen to. Was talking about 2 words a minute.
Chris Williams compared Petras yesterday to Steele Jantz. @1776 says he showed he had a good arm yesterday. What a world we live in

You're comparing a QB proven to be one of the best in the country to a guy who had one poor game but "showed he had a good arm". I honestly don't get it. I'm fine if you're not giving up on the kid yet but saying he had a good arm yesterday is laughable looking at his numbers unless receivers were dropping 25% of his passes

Not exactly sure.

Steele had a Hawkeye good arm also. Could drop the ball on the opposing 30 yard line from the endzone, only issue was the receiver was running a 15 yard in.

That's what I'm starting to believe. I think Iowa fans would say Jantz and Park > Purdy lol

In one game they determined accuracy is going to be an issue for him?
I've heard that was an issue since he's been on campus actually. So one game I was told he showed he was inaccurate in the passing game and you say he showed in one game that he had a good arm. Stats say my friends are correct

I talked to ISU fans who worry about Purdy when ISU plays against a good defense like yesterday. 99.7 ??? That is worse than the Oregon State kid who was making his first start. And Purdy has the best tight end room in the nation, a heisman contending running back, and an improved offensive line. Yikes!

@1776 Did you mean to say yesterday Petras showed he had a strong arm and not a good arm? I assume that's what is happening here because I know they've said since day one he can throw it hard

So accuracy is what you value? You must be concerned that Purdy is at 61% this year after 5 games.
