Your TE room was awful last year FWIWThis could happen with all the talent on the roster but I doubt it. I think you will see up to 4 TE’s used this year.

Yep but we brought in two awesome recruits in Lachey and Yelverton. Both also were highly ranked and had awesome offer lists (which I know you love)Your TE room was awful last year FWIW
I could understand the hype on those two. Not so much on LaPortaYep but we brought in two awesome recruits in Lachey and Yelverton. Both also were highly ranked and had awesome offer lists (which I know you love)
There are multiple comparisons to Hockensons first year compared to LaPorta’s. Not great production and not widely well known by other fan bases. He also has a very similar style of game to TJ. It’s a wait and see game but I’m sure ISU fans will see why we are so high on LaPorta when the Big 10 starts.I could understand the hype on those two. Not so much on LaPorta
Haven't you only played them like twice in the last decade? I couldn't imagine not playing Oklahoma every year2017
Such as?There are multiple comparisons to Hockensons first year compared to LaPorta’s.
Coming in strong during the end of the year, making multiple 3rd down catches, and 0 drops.Such as?
Yeah we have avoided tOSU besides 2013 and 2017. We still have played 2016 Mich, 2017 PSU, 2017 OSU, 2018 PSU, and 2019 PSU. Every team listed here was top 5 at the point in the season we played them besides 2018 PSU.Haven't you only played them like twice in the last decade? Hockenson had 320 yards and 3 TDs as a freshman and was way better early in the year than at the end. His last 4 games were:Coming in strong during the end of the year, making multiple 3rd down catches, and 0 drops.
No wonder you guys always have such an easy scheduleYeah we have avoided tOSU besides 2013 and 2017.
lol I literally showed a pic from a game where he had drops. And one was an easy touchdown, but ya, OKAY lmaoIdk what you are talking about. He did struggle in 2018 with drops but last year before and after the injury he didn’t have many if any drops. He probably has the best hands on the team outside of LaPorta.
Trying to tout Michigan as some power house LMAO. Let alone trying to say PSU or Michigan are at the same level as OSU is hilariousYeah we have avoided tOSU besides 2013 and 2017. Bump for @STC061693Hockenson had 320 yards and 3 TDs as a freshman and was way better early in the year than at the end. His last 4 games were:
1 catch for 6 yards, no TDs
3 catches for 33 yards, no TDs
0 catches
1 catch for 9 yards, no TDs
I thought he must have been playing better in the last few games. Must have Fant who was still hot. I still think LaPorta can be a poor mans Hockenson at worst which is better then anything ISU or multiple other colleges would trot out.Bump for @STC061693
Do you think 2016 Michigan was bad? Or 2017 PSU? Or 2019 PSU? Those teams were in New Years 6 bowls and won 2 of the 3.Trying to tout Michigan as some power house LMAO. Let alone trying to say PSU or Michigan are at the same level as OSU is hilarious
But there are really no comparisons between the two at this point. Like I said I don't understand the hypeI thought he must have been playing better in the last few games. Must have Fant who was still hot. I still think LaPorta can be a poor mans Hockenson at worst which is better then anything ISU or multiple other colleges would trot out.
Man I just don't understand the LaPorta hype at all. Low level recruit, no accolades and no production. Maybe you'll end up being right but I bet he gets passed up on the depth chart
