I said he was a likely opt out, not that it was going to be announced today. Also, there is over a month to go until Iowa plays a game.

Wait, so he isn't opting out as of now?I said he was a likely opt out, not that it was going to be announced today. Also, there is over a month to go until Iowa plays a game.
Apparently not now according to @STCoach . Good for him because if he did Iowa fans would destroy himWait, so he isn't opting out as of now?

A black starter opting out will literally make Hawkeye Twitter explodeRemember when they badgered 2 of their own reporters and their starting RBs mom into making their twitter accounts private? Pretty incredible.
Idk what you are talking about. He did struggle in 2018 with drops but last year before and after the injury he didn’t have many if any drops. He probably has the best hands on the team outside of LaPorta.Honestly not impressed by the Penn State catch. The Minnesota and one hander were nice. Glad he can make what seems to be the difficult ones. Looks like he struggles with the easy catches though
That's like being the tallest midget lolHe probably has the best hands on the team outside of LaPorta.
LaPorta has some of the best hands I’ve seen on a TE. I really think he is the next Hockenson/Myers/Chandler type TE.That's like being the tallest midget lol
He doesn't even have a TD catch in his career lolLaPorta has some of the best hands I’ve seen on a TE. I really think he is the next Hockenson/Myers/Chandler type TE.

I'd put the chances of Sam LaPorta being on an NFL roster in 4 years at right around 80-90%. Kolar is the only TE on your team that I would say that about. He doesn't even have a TD catch in his career lol
Pretty optimistic about a recruit nobody wanted with and 15 career catchesI'd put the chances of Sam LaPorta being on an NFL roster in 4 years at right around 80-90%. Kolar is the only TE on your team that I would say that about.
Iowa wanted him. That tends to work out pretty well.Pretty optimistic about a recruit nobody wanted with and 15 career catches
Yeah Kirk Ferentz is going into his 22nd season with a title in an irrelevant conference. Crazy impressive!Iowa wanted him. That tends to work out pretty well.
George Kittle says hi. 6 receptions in first two years and no major conference teams recruited him:Pretty optimistic about a recruit nobody wanted with and 15 career catches
