That’s not true at all. You would know that if you watched any Iowa games last year.
I admit to not watching a ton of Iowa football, but I am married to an Iowa fan so sometimes she would actually want to watch. I thought the reason AJ didn't play all that much was because he was weak against the run? Otherwise it makes no sense why he wasn't out there most of the time.

To illustrate why I am sometimes forced to watch them

One one hand your posts lead me to believe you don't watch them at all. On the other it seems you may watch every game and have a blind hatred for them.

I watch them some of the time and hate them most of the time. A couple kids I like or respect like AJ in football and Baer in basketball. Baer wasn’t that good but I appreciated how hard he played and wished we had a guy who played that hard sometimes.
I can’t stand Fran.
Iowa football is stale.
It’s sooo much better watching a cheering for the Cyclones!

I watched most of their games and yes it is true, there is a reason why he only played so much. If he is a top 10 prospect in next years draft already then he should be playing 75% of all snaps. He will be used the same way in the NFL as well, as an edge rush specialist.

Lots of encouraging news from Iowa City over the last few days. Sounds like some extremely talented freshmen and sophomores are taking command at their respective positions- Kallenberger and Linderbaum on the OL, DJ Johnson at the “cash” position Hooker played, and Nixon at DT.

Sounds like Iowa is also planning on switching between a 4-3, 4-2-5, and now even 3-4 on defense this year. In Phil we trust.

Starting to imitate heacock. I would also if I was Phil.
