@1776 what do you mean he had a good arm? I can't imagine anyone would ever say a QB that had a 113 QB rating in his only game ever "had a good arm" lol

Ummm ok. I don't understand what his QB rating has to do with him having a good arm. His 113 QB rating, in his first start, was higher than Purdy's in two of his starts this year. I am not ready to panic on the Oregon State kid quite yet.

Ok, but you usually don't need to worry about a teammate punching the ball out.

Unless you have 11 independently working eyes that can see 360 degrees you need to be prepared for getting hit even when you're not expecting it. Seems like Hok fans dished out endless grief last year on a botched puntreturner that got hit by friendly fire.

Good point, so was that fumble last year the punt returners fault?

Ok, so how was Purdy's arm yesterday? With a 99.7 QB rating he must not have a good arm.
