Will he get drafted?
Difficult to tell. Iowa’s D was designed for JJ to make a lot of tackles & he did just that. Kind of like what a system QB has for yards & TDs, their numbers look awesome but does it truly translate to NFL production. No question he’s an instinctive player who is tough as nails. Still think he goes undrafted them gets on a team’s praise squad. If a team thinks he’s off the charts due to instincts & fitting a scheme just right, then he’s a 6-7 round pick.

Remember when Iowa fans said Jewell was faster than Lazard?

I'm sure that he'll still get drafted, as he does have elite LB instincts, but that is a slow time. Might have to hide him in a 3-4 just so that he wouldn't have to go sideline to sideline as much. I would honestly guess that Lanning would run something similar...a tenth faster at the most.

Good thing he had a solid three-cone time. His measurables were never going to be lights out, no mystery there. His tape is obviously great, very smart and instinctive, and just a great football player.

Didn't you say he was faster than Lazard?
