I think my top 5 Burton movies are as follows:

Beetlejuice
Sleepy Hollow
Batman
Big Fish
Pee Wee's Big Adventure

With a hat tip to Sweeney Todd (which im still digesting), Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands

I do like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but it isnt his best work. I wont go into Planet of the Apes. Not sure what happened there. He definitely has an eye for the strange and beautiful though.

Gotta give some love to Ed Wood, though! It's fantastic and bizarre, all at the same time. :) I'm also excited for this movie.

yeah i've always enjoyed his stuff. beetlejuice is one of my all-time favorites.

have you seen the trailer for The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus? The director is Terry Gilliam. he did Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and he's the guy who did the animation for Monty Python. i can't wait to see this.

For sure. Its been on my list for awhile now. I love movies that are rich in color and story telling. I have high hopes for that movie.
