Alamo Bowl Bling (CF fiesta medal)

San Antonio has a cool tradition of "Fiesta Medals." It seems like every organization, company, and even some notable individuals produce medals to give away during the Fiesta. It is a huge deal in San Antonio.

I'm seriously thinking about having a Fiesta Medal made to commemorate our trip to the Alamo Bowl.

Please let me know your thoughts about the design and whether you would pay $5 to $10 for a 2-inch medal. For reference, I pay $12 for the Big 12 MBB lapel pin each year.

Here are a few of the options I'm considering:

First, wrapping the CF logo with something like "Remember the Process."



Second, the Alama parody with a CF logo on the flag.



Thoughts? Other suggestions?

I need to place the order ASAP in order to get them made by the Alamo Bowl.

Fiesta medals are a cottage industry in San Antonio. They are pro's and some have a rush production option.

I've talked to a handful of companies in San Antonio about producing this and haven't gotten any pushback. And I've explicitly asked. Regardless, I'm getting more interest in the CF logo version.

Thoughts from the morning crowd? I'll probably make a decision and place the order this afternoon if we do it.

I suppose so, but I don't know if I've ever seen a two-sided Fiesta medal. The industry (and the price point) is set for one-sided medals.

There is another guy on the site who made the Alamo image. I'm talking with him outside the forum. While I like the Alamo image, I'm leaning away from it (too complex for production, the Alamo was a loss) and toward the one with the round CF logo.

However, I may make a framed poster with the Alamo image. It is really cool. And I've got a few more ideas to suggest for it.
