They forgot Mack Brown
never forget. I thought there were more actually.
I was sure they were going to list Pop Warner, too.
Was this the list of former ISU coaches that have won national titles??? They also forgot Pete Carrol, although his title may have been redacted due to the Reggie Bush scandal.
One of the announcers said they forgot Carroll and that was my first thought - technically now, he didn't win one.
They said Pete Carroll after the fact.
I thought the question was previous head coaches to go on, and then they added a non-head coach off the top of their head.
Correct. It was head coaches.
Jimmy Johnson wasn't a head coach at ISU. They botched it, and that's too bad as the quality of past ISU assistants is actually pretty cool trivia. Of course the kick in the bag is that their success has always come elsewhere.
I learned last night that Don Shula was an assistant in the late 50's for ISU. Not a college head coach but neat piece of trivia none the less.
That sideline reporter for TCU game was the most self-important sideline reporter I've seen. Pretty annoying, I thought McElroy did a good job without interference from that other guy.
The whole question seemed like it lacked more than 30 seconds of research.
Yeah me too.
And some of you may get a kick out of this, but to the extent I've put Chizek so far out of my psyche, he didn't even occur to me, and I was kicking myself for not thinking of him. Guess that's really a good thing. Bad memory.
I'e always thought it was Interesting the amount of big named coaches that have spent time at ISU.
