How soft are you that 'bad words' hurt you so much, and even softer still that you can't even see them in acronym form without crying about it. And how, exactly, is JFC "more offensive" than other things that are already blocked?

If anything this board should remove most of the filters entirely. Almost everyone is adults here. The fact that someone can't refer to someone by the name of **** (as in Cheney) without getting filtered is silly
I agree the filter is somewhat pointless. Why not make it an option where you can choose to see the *s or the actual words and have it default to *s. Maybe make it a SuperFanatic only option like dark mode but I don't know if that would be enough of a perk to gain additional subscribers or not. You could even go one step further and allow users to add custom patterns to filter. That would solve the OPs issue without having to force it on everyone.

Can we have this acronym *** out? I hate when I see that as it makes me say it out while reading. It's crazy how much it's used anymore. Way more offensive than most words that are blocked on here. I know I'm the crazy old man
There is a very easy way to manage your dilemma! You can start a board wherein you make it a starred out word and invite the other two people here to join you. The internet is a free market! I am sure you could have a Puritan Forum, heck you could even have a risqué forum where words like heck and geeze(because that is short for the big JC) and you could bolster it with Scripture forum. You control what you consume. Enterprise meets need.

Why did so many of you feel the need to respond negatively? Feels like it says more about you than him.
One could say the same about a person who responds to the people responding.

And yet you'll have no issue with people who spell losing as loosing.

What it says about us is we think he needs to Htfu or find a forum that meets his needs more to his liking. I would even submit if the moderation got that minute many would find a forum that wasn't so fragile. Again the internet is a perfect example of free enterprise.

JFC the irony from you Jesus freaks is exhausting and oppressive.

Negative is relative to the beholder. I am grossly offended this was even a thread and view its existence as negative. People not being able to live in a world were other people are different than them without feeling a need to judge and say something is a NEGATIVE PROBLEM in our world today.

IF YOU DONT LIKE JFC, THEN DONT JFC. THAT IS YOUR CROSS TO BARE.
