In the entertainment industry there are a lot of regulations for child actors like hours they can work/be on set which is why real babies are hardly ever used or have so few shots in movies.

So what you're saying is that I was completely wrong. I didn't know this.

Well sort of but even if the individual actor wasn't tired he would have to stop and let his brother take over because they are usually limited on the number of hours they can be on set. I heard somewhere that babies can only be on set for 2 hours, which can be a really short time if things are not ready.

Another classic example is Mary Kate and Ashley were cast as one person in Full House.

The SAND MAN is Back! That's my Boy was awesome. For one movie Sandler brought back the sophomoric material that made him a fan favorite. Solid cameos by Rex Ryan and Vanilla Ice.

I think part of it, for me, is that I out grew his humor. I'm not in Jr high anymore... Same with will farrell.

Absolutely. I remember "What the Hell Happened to Me?" being the funniest thing my junior-high ears had ever heard. I dug that CD out and listened to it a few months ago, and don't think I laughed any more than 2-3 times.

Will Ferrell always makes me laugh, though.

He started off at such a high that there really was no where else but down. I still enjoy his movies. Watched Big Daddy Friday night.

Adam would be in strong contention for a "nicest guy in the world" award but his movies for the most part are total gar-bage.

Will he ever make a funny movie again? I feel like it has been nearly a decade since he made something that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Coincidentally, has it been about a decade since you sold your gravity bong?

You don't sell a gravity bong. You just break it back down into the parts that you made it from. It's sort of a sad day, but look on the bright side, you get to use your bathtub again!

Will Ferrel is a hell of a lot funnier than Adam Sandler.

Ferrell actually delivers some decent one-liners in his movies. 90% of Sandler's humor, even in his good movies, is from making faces and yelling in his angry voice. I think a previous poster was right, I don't think his schtick really got worse, he just never grew into something new and a lot of core audience kind of outgrew him. I think the edge in quality a lot of people would give something like Happy Gilmore is just sentimentality.

That being said, Ferrell is just as capable of delivering a turd of a movie (Land of the Lost, Semi-Pro).

I'd never pay theater prices for a Sandler movie but they are OK for a Redbox night. Certainly won't ever watch Jack & Jill but you can tell when they are at least passable and worth a buck.

I like a lot of Sandler movies. Jack and Jill is one I won't see. I actually liked Grown Ups. Pulls at my old man strings a little bit.
